The common garden snail (Cornu aspersum); An introduced species from Europe to North America. If you find a snail on the sidewalk in CA it's probably this guy. Not great to have in your garden, but very cute.

A mysterious little sea butterfly shell--My best guess at the species is Cavolinia gibbosa. If anyone out there happens to be an expert and recognizes this guy let me know! 😃
