Ya you have to run 89 or 91. Which I’d be fine with if it actually improves fuel economy at cruising speeds. It’s not about saving money it’s that some lakes are so big I can’t go as far as I’d like. Better holeshot on rivers would be nice too. The more I research it I might do it in the off-season 😅.

Tbh I had no plans of modifying my motor but with 3 people and gear it is a little slow to get on plane. Then I saw someone made a post about the same boat and motor saying the ecu flash takes it from 90hp to 120hp and they changed the impeller (which on a jet boat is the same as a prop) and apparently it made a big difference with some of my complaints. The part I really find hard to believe is people are saying up to 20% increased fuel economy at half throttle compared to stock motor at half throttle.

True 😂. Their AI is pretty handy for finding info from forums and YouTube videos and stuff. I’ve got lots of helpful fishing tips using it.

As far as the motor I think I’ll use the other company that doesn’t change the rev limiter and keeps the warranty or wait 2 more years until my warranty is up.
