The impact of the security vacuum created by the departure of the Ethiopian National Defense Force (ENDF) continues to reverberate across Oromia. Two days ago, the Oromo Liberation Army (OLA) reportedly killed nearly 100 Oromia militia members in an attack on their training camp in Mulo, located about 55 km from Addis Ababa.

The rebels briefly took control of the town with little resistance before eventually withdrawing, allegedly seizing weapons from police stations and militia offices.
