From today, I am beginning the handover process to Hallam’s new 2019/20 Women’s Rep Jade Swift. I’ll be tidying up loose ends, emailing people to say goodbye and letting you know what I plan on doing next. This past year has been amazing and I’m sad to be leaving 💖 (thread 1/4)
I tried to remember everything I’ve done this year to go in my handover. There’s a lot. Thank you to the students and staff of SHSU for giving me the opportunity to work on so many worthwhile things.
Please don’t forget to follow my personal account @gabriellekeziah if you want to keep in touch! I’ll be going through and following lots of contacts from this account too 👯♀️ for now I’ll look back on this year and say a final goodbye when the time comes! (4/4)

I’m looking forward to whatever amazing things for women come next from SHSU and as I go into my final year at SHU, I’ll be remaining involved in some way through activism, societies and volunteering 💪🏻 (2/4)
@sammywoodhouse1 @princessjack We akgnowledge that there are women who want to leave the industry and want things to change, we listen to their experiences, we want to make it safer so it doesn’t happen to anyone else. Is anyone listening to the women who say this and say they feel safe? No.
@sammywoodhouse1 Are you talking to me or @princessjack? You quote me but use Gemma’s name.
The fact is that by standing up for dancers at spearmint rhino Sheffield to retain their safe place to work, we’re fighting for all strippers to have a safe space to work. ALL.
@princessjack Staying level-headed against these people is key. I was spoken over and shouted at on bbc radio 2 yesterday too, she wouldn’t let me get a word in edgeways, but I wasn’t going to stoop to that level on national radio.
@princessjack Thank you Gemma. It’s something I freely talk about to help others, and I’m just shocked and saddened that women who claim to be acting in the name of women would treat survivors and SWers like this.
Thank you Heather. Victim blaming is not ok. I’m proud to be using the strength I have in my survivor status to fight for what’s right. Survivors are strong and we will not be blamed.
Such a shame that Lisa wouldn’t let me get a word in edgeways and Jeremy Vine seemed to break impartiality, but thankfully the amazing Ella who I have so much respect for was a force to be reckoned with phoning in after!
Tune in to the @theJeremyVine show on @BBCRadio2 at 12:30 to hear me defending women’s right to use their body as they please, and condemning revenge porn!
@ln_cooper89 Thanks Lucy! Ella is an absolute star and always knows the right thing to say 🌟 we’re getting so much support and it’s really heartwarming!
@KathyDavies93 You’re a force to be reckoned with and should be so proud of what you’ve achieved today so far! Anything else is a bonus and you’ll smash it 💖🌟
