When someone accuses you of stealing their recent content and you have literally only seen one of their videos that they brought to your attention. >_< #haloinfinite
We're seeing a move by devs toward more advanced movement in FPS games like Apex, Titan, etc. 343 should add snap slides back as they're even harder than bunny hoping anyway. #haloinfinite https://t.co/GSgmT0Y3Cx
@TechnicalHalo A Lockout that's true to the original, just upgraded. That or they should add that one forge remake of Lockout to matchmaking. I just want to recapture them Halo 2 vibes.
@total_legend I've got all the basics down and some of the scripting. I am not sure how you scripted that boost into the stairs, though. If you don't care, could you explain? I'd definitely like to try it.
@Druk_RN It's just wild that games from a decade ago have better physics and stronger fundamentals than games in 2022. It's just weird that games so old feel smoother and more balanced. Gaming industry really needs to get it together.
Managed to hit some really difficult jumps in this one. Most aren't very practical but there's a few I'm definitely gonna use from now on. #HaloInfinite#haloinfinitemp

Had no idea these two jumps existed until recently because literal trash was blocking me from noticing the little boxes for the overjump. Maybe useful as a hail marry jump when you're about to die from nades. @JTON_@LBBubba
@sacrediconpod I was like 9 years-old and as soon as I saw my brother player Halo, I became obsessed. It was beyond obvious that Halo was a truly special game unlike anything we had ever seen before.
@HuNteR_Jjx Dating back to early comp FPS games like Quake / Counter Strike, the idea was to have as many skill gaps as possible to truly separate the pro from the amatuer. Movement was always vital. I can't even image going back to Halo 2 slow, even though I loved that game to death.
I say this because snap slides were one of the few things that kept the game interesting to me. Even though they were ridiculously hard to pull of in matchmaking, we all enjoyed the tricks jumps in custom games. It feels like something really fun was taken from us.
In CS:GO and other FPS games, there are mechanics like snap slides in #HaloInfinite . Wasn't removed, people enjoyed it. Contrary to looks, snap slides aren't easily abused (even pros struggled) @Tashi343i@ske7ch@Shyway At the very least, could it be a custom game feature?
@JTON_@markdoesntedit Was this supposedly patched? I was testing it out last night and it's still doable but seems more difficult in certain areas? Maybe it's just me, I don't know.
@JTON_@Shyway@LBBubba That's what I presumed but I'm not sure. It's happened to me two other times as well but it's very rare. Would be wild if there was a way to replicate.
