During the 23 session we were told AR could build a 3000 bed prison for 470 million. Alabama is trying to get done with a 4000 bed and it’s 1.2 billion.Utah 3600 bed cost 1 billion. I have asked the gov office for their details. Also asked the new building manger questions.

Having lived in Utah back in the day, I observed that one of the virtues of the LDS community is their emphasis on saving money and spending it wisely. So I’m curious how Gov. Sanders thinks she can build a 3K bed prison for $470MM when Utah’s 3.6K bed prison cost >$1 billion.
