Palestinian Foreign Ministry Demands Immediate End to the Captivity of Over 2 Million Palestinian Lives
Despite international appeals from states and specialized organizations, rulings by the International Court of Justice, and numerous UN resolutions calling for the sustained delivery of humanitarian aid, the Israeli occupation continues to obstruct the flow of relief, humanitarian, and medical assistance to the Palestinian people in Gaza. This deliberate obstruction persists despite the acute shortages, holding the lives of over 2 million Palestinians hostage to political schemes and blackmail under the watchful eyes of the international community.
For 461 days, systematic extermination, forced displacement, and humanitarian catastrophe have deepened, confining Palestinians to a deadly cycle of bombardment, displacement, starvation, and deprivation of the most basic human rights.
The Ministry strongly condemns the continued failure of the international community to enforce international law and compel Israel to comply with its obligations. The Ministry demands an end to this genocidal war and urgent protection for Palestinian civilians, who represent the nation’s most vital and irreplaceable human foundation.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs: International Failure to Halt #Genocide Encourages #Settler Terrorist Militias to Replicate Atrocities in the West Bank
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemns the brutal attack by settler militias on the city of Al-Bireh, where Palestinian homes and vehicles were set ablaze. This assault is viewed as an extension of widespread settler crimes across the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, and as a replication of the genocide and forced displacement campaign endured by the Palestinian people in Gaza, which has persisted unabated for 395 days.
The Ministry asserts that the Jewish terrorist settler militias responsible for storming Al-Bireh would not have committed such heinous crimes without the protection and immunity granted by the Israeli political leadership, particularly by ministers from the extreme right-wing factions. These officials openly incite violence against Palestinian civilians, lands, and properties, often under the watchful eye of the Israeli occupation forces and its various agencies.
The Ministry reiterates its urgent call for the international community and the United Nations to move beyond statements of concern and take decisive action to confront Israel’s occupation and escalating settler war crimes. It demands strong and concrete measures to pressure Israel into implementing the UN General Assembly resolution that endorses the International Court of Justice’s advisory opinion calling for an end to the occupation within 12 months.
While the Ministry acknowledges recent sanctions imposed by some countries on certain settler militia members, it emphasizes that these actions are far from sufficient. The Ministry calls for comprehensive sanctions targeting the entire settler-colonial system, holding all entities responsible for promoting or engaging in settler terrorism and systematic land annexation against the Palestinian people.
