کراچی پریس کلب پر این ڈی ایم کے پُرامن احتجاج کو پولیس کے ذریعے روکنا اور این ڈی ایم سندھ کے صدر محمد شیر، جنرل سیکرٹری غفور ایڈووکیٹ، انفارمیشن سیکرٹری حمدان خان اور کلچرل سیکرٹری ابرار محسود کو گرفتار کرنا نہایت شرمناک اور قابلِ مذمت عمل ہے۔ پُرامن احتجاج کرنا ہر شہری کا آئینی اور بنیادی حق ہے، جسے طاقت کے زور پر سلب نہیں کیا جا سکتا۔ اس غیر جمہوری اقدام کی جتنی بھی مذمت کی جائے کم ہے۔
ہم مطالبہ کرتے ہیں کہ این ڈی ایم سندھ کے تمام گرفتار عہدیداران کو فوری طور پر رہا کیا جائے۔

On what grounds has #SindhPolice arrested the #Sindh President & General Secretary of the National Democratic Movement (#NDM)?

They were protesting at #KarachiPressClub against the terrorist attack in #Darpakhel, #NorthWaziristan. This is a blatant violation of the right to peaceful assembly.

Protesting terrorism and demanding peace is not a crime. Kindly release them immediately.
