Footage of a Ukrainian attack drone hitting a storage tank at the Moscow Oil Refinery this morning, sending the tank lid perfectly soaring hundreds of feet.
His movie had Miami and New York submerged under the ocean by now, the ice cap disappearing by 2014, Glacier National Park glacier-free by 2020, and no more Snows of Kilimanjaro. He was wrong about hurricanes, the ocean, the temperature. but mostly, like all Malthusians, Gore was wrong about human ingenuity.
Totally speculative read on what happened inside Trump world on the Iran deal. Hear me out:
Rubio made the coercion case: keep pressure on, break leverage, impose terms.
Vance made the off-ramp case: stop the shooting, reopen Hormuz, get gas prices down, buy 60 days.
Vance won the immediate argument but Trump made him own it.
That’s why Vance is the public face of the deal while Rubio remains the fallback if Iran plays games during the nuclear talks.
Politically, Trump gets the hedge.
If the 60-day window works, Trump takes the win.
If it fails, Vance owns it and Rubio gets handed the wheel.
The big problem here is that Iran gets the same 60 days.
88% of Republican say they plan to celebrate America’s upcoming 250th birthday.
60% of independents and 54% of Democrats say the same. https://t.co/wypZYdBwPx
Is It APATHY Or Intention?
The more right leaning local leadership is the less violent crime there is
Do Democrats intentionally allow or encourage violent crime or is it based on ignorance and incompetence
😳 Wild footage shows a Ukrainian drone being intercepted by a Russian air defense missile near the Moscow oil refinery, crashing into a nearby building and exploding.
🚨 IT'S OFFICIAL: One of the White House terror plot organizers IS A DACA RECIPIENT
"DHS confirming the suspected ringleader accused in a plot to carry out a mass casualty attack at the UFC event at the White House on Sunday is an ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT."
"The alleged ringleader of this incident Abraham Alvarez was in the country illegally from Mexico, but also may have been granted DACA status allowed to stay back into the Obama administration."
END DACA!
Trump killed 50 of Iran's top leaders, did at least $1 trillion worth of damage to their military equipment and infrastructure, totally wiped out their naval fleet and air fleets, put their government in a state of endemic internal conflict, and left them totally incapable of meaningfully attacking their neighbors in the region any time soon. By the end of it, all Iran could do is rig the strait with mines and take pop shots at passing ships.
The loss of insurance coverage had more of an impact on the flow of marine traffic than Iran did.
I personally would have preferred the total destruction of the IRGC (which technically isn't off the table if they decide to FAFO) but it would have been difficult to accomplish without more civilian casualties -- something third worldist leftoids were already complaining (and campaigning) about.
In the meantime, consider the following:
No boots on the ground. No prolonged conflict. No permanent occupation. No military draft. No lasting impact on energy prices. No multi-trillion dollar boondoggle. None of the things anti-war retards with Israel tunnel vision like Dave Smith and Candace Owens predicted would happen.
In addition:
- Oil and gas prices are falling in time for summer and the midterms.
- "Free Palestine" third worldists like Graham Platner have less ammo on which to campaign for Congress.
- Russia is bringing in less revenue.
- The U.S. got a foot in the door to block China's Belt and Road projects.
- Trump has greater latitude to tighten sanctions on Russia without exacerbating supply shocks to energy markets.
- Europe and America have agreed to increase cooperation in providing for the national defense of Ukraine.
- Israel isn't a signatory to the MOU and isn't bound by its terms, leaving it free to independently defend itself from threats if necessary.
- America isn't creating a power vacuum for China and Russia to fill by absconding and surrendering its own influence over the region.
The people who say this is a "humiliating defeat" for Trump?
- Russia
- China
- Iran
- Democrats
- The leftist Drudge-led media establishment
All the worst people you know have joined arms and are pretending like Iran pulled one over on the Bad Orange Man in hopes that it will piss off Republicans and Israelis enough to get them to kill the deal themselves.
It's very transparent. Don't let your enemies control you with such a stupid and obvious Reflexive Control op.
.@SECWAR “As President Trump put it, he gave our allies a test—to support America when we asked for their help—and too many failed it.
The United States has defended Europe for GENERATIONS, and all the President said was that our jets need to take off from bases in Europe or our ships from ports to strike targets in the Middle East...
Too many of our allies said no or tried to drown us in arcane legal debates, or criticized us publicly for doing what they aren’t prepared or able to do themselves—IT WAS SHAMEFUL."
Scott Jennings: “You're leaving out the critical piece, which is, according to some reporting and according to the president, the document flatly states Iran will not have a nuclear weapon.”
CNN’s Abby Phillip: “That's what the JCPOA says.”
Scott Jennings: “There's literally no teeth to enforce it.”
Abby Phillip: “In the plain text of the JCPOA, it says Iran will not pursue a nuclear weapon.”
Scott Jennings: “But they did.”
Abby Phillip: “This document, as far as we know, says that it reiterates what it has always said, which is that they have been saying for many, many years that they are not pursuing a nuclear weapon… So, then why do you believe it now?”
Scott Jennings: “Well, I believe it now because, A, we bombed the ever-living crap out of their uranium enrichment facilities last summer. And, B, we now have something that no one's ever had, this amazing coalition of Arab states in the Gulf working with us to keep on top of the Iranians to keep it from ever happening. To me, that is the critical thing that is new…”
Super weird, and potentially wonderful.
We now have several natural experiments suggesting that the shingles vaccine significantly reduces dementia risk, or delays dementia risk, potentially by suppressing reactivation of the underlying virus, which can linger in nerve tissue and cause brain damage
