💥🔥 Ukraine reportedly struck JSC Proton, an electronics manufacturer in Oryol, according to ASTRA. Local residents reported at least four explosions and a large plume of smoke after a missile alert was issued. The regional governor confirmed a missile strike on an industrial facility but did not immediately provide details on damage or casualties. Ukrainian sources report the plant’s semiconductor devices and electronic components are used in Russian weapons systems, including Iskander-M missiles and Pantsir-S1 air-defence systems.

Yet another horrific tragedy of this war. One Ukrainian crew member was killed and three more are still missing after a drone attack on another civilian vessel near the Romanian coast. I thank Romanian rescue services for their rapid response that saved the lives of six Ukrainian crew members.
