@SocialBodiesUoB@Montagu_Letters@EMLOnline@SMCoulombeau@CRUlph In case of interest, the Burney family very often send addresses to & from multiple members of the family. Charles Burney jr writes to his sister & her husband (the D’Arblays) together so often that he has a special collective address for them - ‘Darbs’
We’ve just opened our call for applications to our 2024 Research Bursary: open to postgrad students & precariously employed/independent researchers from anywhere in the world undertaking research on Frances Burney, the Burney family and their wider circle. https://t.co/n1LkWI2F1d

What a brilliant time Team Hamilton had at #BSECS2023. Coming away with much food for thought & many new friends. Thanks to everyone who came to our panel & had conversations with us in the coffee breaks, over dinner or in the pub!
Had a great time at our @Hamilton_Papers panel - thanks all for coming, stealing extra chairs, & making it a #SoldOutGig! Fascinating qs about how names indicate politeness, whether ‘compliments’ indicate a relationship, & Mary’s autocannibalistic manuscript books. #bsecs2023
Day 2! Session 1 this morning is all about Mary Hamilton and the @Hamilton_Papers project! If you can bear the 9am start, come to hear our team present research findings for the very first time. Reading practices, social networks, letter-writing - we got it all, baby #BSECS2023
