اللہ تعالیٰ کے فضل و کرم سے پنجاب کے کسان کو خوشحال بنانے کیلیے 30 ارب روپے کے انقلابی ہائی ٹیک مشینرائزیشن پروگرام کا آغاز کر دیا گیا ہے۔ 12 اقسام کی جدید مشینیں اب بلاسود فنانسنگ پر میسر ہوں گی۔ کاشتکار، سروس پرووائیڈر اور کمپنیاں 30 ملین روپے تک کا قرض حاصل کر سکیں گی۔ حکومت پنجاب مکمل سود کی ذمہ داری سنبھالے گی جبکہ درخواست دہندہ صرف 20 فیصد رقم ادا کرے گا۔

We’re ushering in a revolutionary transformation in Punjab’s agriculture!

Today, Alhamdolillah, we launched the Hi-Tech Mechanization Bank Financing Program, a groundbreaking initiative worth Rs. 30 billion to empower our farmers with the latest agricultural technology.

Through this program, interest-free bank financing is being provided via the Bank of Punjab, covering up to 80% of the cost of hi-tech farming machinery.
Farmers, service providers, and agri-firms across all districts of Punjab are eligible to apply.

This is a major leap forward in modernizing our farming practices, improving productivity, and delivering real prosperity to our Kisaan.

The future of farming in Punjab, the food basket of Pakistan, has arrived.

Exactly one year ago, on October 4, 2024, I visited the Bank of Punjab (@thebankofpunjab) for its performance and strategic review.
Today, Alhamdolillah, I am proud to witness a remarkable transformation, a clear reflection of our collective vision, discipline, and unwavering focus.

Key milestones achieved over the past year:
•Market capitalization has reached an all-time high since the bank’s inception in 1991, crossing PKR 100 billion.
•Share price is at its highest since 2009, making BOP the best-performing banking stock and among the top three best-performing shares on the KSE-100 index over the past 12 months.
•With over 122,000 SME borrowers and a PKR 146 billion SME portfolio, BOP is now the No. 1 SME lender in Pakistan’s banking industry.
•The bank has onboarded 494,000 new farmers, more than any other institution, a landmark in financial inclusion for the agriculture sector.
•Over 85,000 low-cost homes have been financed, the highest in the entire banking industry, advancing our goal of housing for all.
•BOP continues to lead in digital lending, outpacing peers in both reach and innovation.

This is not just institutional progress, it is the practical realisation of our vision, and the execution of our programs for the most underserved segments of society, delivered at an unprecedented scale in Pakistan.

I extend my sincere congratulations to the management and staff of the Bank of Punjab for their commitment, professionalism, and for being an essential partner in Punjab’s economic growth story.

With over 35000 pieces of state-of-the-art machinery and modern equipment, from de-silting machines, winching units, to sucker pumps, we have raised a silent army of 150,000 heroes in green armour.

These dedicated workers are cleaning & cleansing the streets, neighborhoods, and landscapes of Punjab, from the bustling cities to the far flung villages, with unmatched commitment and dignity.

Today, all 38 districts of Punjab proudly have their own Suthra Punjab fleets, ensuring that cleanliness is no longer a privilege, but a right for every citizen.

This is not just a program.
It is a paradigm shift, a promise fulfilled, a revolution.
A Punjab where the air is purer, the streets brighter, and dignity wears the color green.

This achievement is more than a number. It is a powerful step toward protecting the health and dignity of our girls.

My heartfelt congratulations to the EPI team, the Health Department, and all those who worked tirelessly on the ground. Your dedication has set a new standard for public health in Pakistan.

To the parents of Punjab: thank you for your confidence, your cooperation, and your belief in this cause. Your trust made this possible.
