@fimiletoks "In life, I plan for betrayal, I plan for backstabbing, I also plan for a reunion and forgiveness long before they happen. In life, l expect nothing, I expect anything, I expect everything."
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu
I was driving my colleague to his junction when his wife called..
"Baby, I've been trying to reach you. Gas has finished."
He replied, "Okay, go and fill it."
She said, "That's why I'm calling, babe. Transfer โฆ10k to my Opay."
He asked, "You don't have โฆ10k to fill gas? Have you finished your last month's salary already?"
She replied, "No babe, you know I always lock my money immediately I receive it. Please send the โฆ10k."
She cut the call...
Then he turned to me and said, "Ebun, abeg you fit run me โฆ50k till next salary drops?"
โHaaaaa....Bro, I'm like your wife o. My money is locked too." ๐
HAVE YOU HEARD OF COGNITIVE FLUENCY BIAS?
Read this before you judge an Obidient.
The eye that has followed the forest too long can no longer recognise daylight. It is not blindness. It is conditioning. And conditioning, left unchallenged, becomes a second nature more stubborn than the first.
Science has a name for what has happened to the Obidient mind. They call it Cognitive Fluency Bias.
You see, our brains naturally prefer information that is easy to process. Intelligent or sophisticated content often requires more mental effort. Therefore, we must be intentional in training our brains on creative substances so it can adequately appreciate intelligent patterns.
Shall I begin?
Understand that intelligence is not automatic - it is a muscle, and like every muscle, it requires deliberate, sustained, sometimes painful exercise. Those conditioned to low-effort content - their minds do not simply dislike depth; they have been architecturally reorganised to resist it.
It explains why some of our parents cannot appreciate movies like ',Game of Thrones' even though they are educated. Because decades of feeding the brain Isakaba, Aki and Pawpaw, Saamu Alajo, will naturally dull their taste in intellectually rigorous productions and 'King of Boys' may appear like a waste of time to them.
They are not foolish, their mind have just been accustomed to shallow productions and will definitely struggle to appreciate depth.
Now bring this same truth into the political arena - and what do we find?
FOUR Years of religiously, diligently, fanatically consuming the most intellectually malnourishing content ever served under the banner of political discourse.
"Washing toilet as security policy." "Consult a madman as crime advisory." "Close your shop and pursue the thief as rebuttal to strict anti-corruption strategy." "China go back to China as economic doctrine."
The brain has been abused, the mind has been violated, yet you stand before this casualty of four years of political junk food and expect them to appreciate Asiwaju's outing in Kigali? You expect the calculus of statecraft to land cleanly on a palate shaped entirely by sensationalism?
You are not being fair to the Obidients.
A tongue long fed on vinegar may reject honey. Continuous consumption of bitterness can make sweetness feel offensive.
It does not mean Obidients are not capable of brilliance, some of them possess multiple degree and may even florish in other conversations of less mental rigour like orgasm, patriarchy, savagery, etc, not just governance, nation building or economic architecture. These are the terrains where Peter Obi's brand of content has done the most irreversible damage to his own followers.
Anyone subjected to the sustained mediocrity Obidients have endured under Peter Obi will - almost inevitably - perceive intelligent content as boring. Not because the content lacks value. But because their cognitive reward system has been trained to reject what it has never been given the grace to recognise.
So be Nice. Be patient with them. Tolerate their ignorance. They are not your enemies.
They are victims - sincerely, thoroughly, and without their own full knowledge - of the most effective political miseducation this democracy has yet witnessed.
Good Morning Severally...
ARE YOU DISABLED?
Q: How many disabled people will you have in your cabinet?
A: We are all disabled in Nigeria today.
The interviewer was probing inclusion - specifically, how the physically challenged would find a seat at the table in his cabinet. A direct question deserving and demanding a direct answer.
Anyone with a functioning brain: "Well, my government will accommodate all Nigerians, including those living with physical impediments. I will base my recruitment strategy on competence and it won't matter if you are visually impaired, speech impaired, hearing impaired, or even an obidient, everyone with something to contribute has a chance in my cabinet."
Simple. Clean. Presidential.
But No!
Instead Abacha's mentee went on the mundane route as usual. "We are all disabled..."
God Abeg o!
We bless God he is not the one in Kigali right now to address the international community. How would Gadus have tackled the taxation question?
The mind shudders.

Good Morning Severally...
There is an urgent medical information I want to pass across. This will save your life, pls come close.
If you ever see rotten tomatoes that looks like these pictures I posted, or if you ever see onions with black spots on them or you see corn with mould on it,
PLEASE RUN FOR YOUR LIFE.
Why do I say this?
All these food items are contaminated with a poisonous fungus called AFLATOXINS.
Aflatoxins are notorious for increasing the risk of liver cancer. When you eat food that has this type of tomatoes, or you eat food cooked with this kind of onions or you eat this type of corn you are at risk of developing liver cancer.
Only eat fresh tomatoes, fresh onions and fresh corn. Avoid rotten tomatoes, blackened onions or corn with mould (even if they are cheaper to buy).
This is not a threat or a joke.
This is a real life serious medical issue.
Kindly share this information.
Dele Momodu, You Are Too Immature For Politics. Please Focus On Hyping Fading #BBNaija Contestants!
Dear Dele Momodu,
I have NEVER reached out to you privately for reconciliation. NEVER. If you have evidence about that, please publicise it now. I must remind you that, if I am nothing, I am at least a meticulous recordkeeper. I know what you and I have discussed privately, and it serves no one's interests to expose our discussions publicly. But if you choose to go that route, note that I do not talk without receipts.
The fact is that, except my parents have been insulted, or my wife or children's lives have been threatened, which for me is unforgivable, I do not harbour malice, unlike you.
The last time you and I had an exchange, I did not reach out to you privately to arrange a settlement or ask for publicity, as you claimed. Rather, because of your weight and the fact that you had previously told me you do not spend more than four days in any physical location and are always travelling, despite the negative things you had written and said about me, I called you to warn you to always travel with aspirin or any other blood thinner to avoid sudden death syndrome, which can result from Deep Vein Thrombosis, caused by frequent air flights. God forbid, it will NEVER happen to you!
You will recall that the reason I gave you that brotherly counsel is because DVT had led to the sudden death of a dear friend and brother of mine who almost became the Inspector General of Police.
You are overweight, and are a heavy and constant eater. I know that for someone of your size to travel once every four days without aspirin as a blood thinner and anti-platelet agent is a big risk.
That you would twist my kind and brotherly gesture out of concern for your health as having "reached out to me, privately, either begging for publicity or apologising for attacking me publicly" is sad. But such is life.
Who are you that I should beg you publicly? On all social media platforms, I command a far greater following than you and your dead magazine, Ovation.
For goodness' sake, I was listed among the most talked-about people in Africa by Google. You were not even mentioned! Ovation did not feature. I was voted the most influential influencer in Africa by Business Insider, the world's top business magazine. You were not even acknowledged.
It is me you need, not the other way around. It pains me to have to say this, as it is not my nature to boast. But you can't put out such and expect me not to respond.
Dele Momodu, you are, sadly, too sensitive for politics. You should have focused on entertainment. You have poor political feelers, and do not know when people are trying to be easy on you because of past friendships.
How, for example, do you expect to insult and attack the President and desire that those who support him will be quiet?
You called the President an economic failure and accused him of being like General Sani Abacha, a murderer and looter, and you say that is not an insult?
And when we speak in measured tones, because you know our capacity and should understand that we were just being easy on you because of the soft spot we have for you, you start getting upset and let your emotions control you.
No. Stay in your lane. Focus on your game as Nigeria's pioneer hype-man. Entertainment is very different from politics.
What value do you bring to the Atiku camp or any other political group?
I was nominated as an Ambassador by President Tinubu and my State Governor, and the three Senators from my state, as well as the Federal cabinet minister from Delta, all united and publicly associated with me and supported me.
The Chairman of the ruling party from my state was with me throughout the process of my confirmation.
In your home state of Edo, who can you count on?
Dele, you should focus on hyping fading Big Brother contestants and leave politics to those with a thick enough skin to take barbs and give back in good measure.
Generation after generation, the Yoruba have remained a pillar of Nigeria, driving creativity, diversity, and excellence across sectors.

You are owing someone money and the person brought Police to arrest you, this is what you should do.
At first, the police have no legal authority to arrest you for a simple debt, as it is a civil matter and not a criminal offense. According to the Police Act 2020 and the Administration of Criminal Justice Act (ACJA), the police are strictly prohibited from interfering in civil disputes or acting as debt collectors
Meaning that, the Police officer the person brought to arrest you, is on illegal duty and is on a mission to perform illegal arrest.
So at this point.
1. Ask the Police officer for his ID and take note of his name
2. Calmly tell the officer it's a civil matter
3. If the officer insist on arresting you, don't resist the arrest. Follow him
4. If they ask you to sign any undertaking of when you will pay back, sign it
That undertaking is not enforceable anywhere, so no fear at all
Once you are out
File a suit against the person you owe and the Police Officer for breach of your fundamental human right and illegal arrest with unlawful detention
In the suit, demand for damages of 50 Million Naira
Ignorance of the law is no excuse
