@FlowsAndolini I was searching "Lightning" on here in the off chance that someone else was posting about it. It's so rapid that I wondered if it might be fireworks.
@ProudBavaria At the very least, don't be afraid to savescum!
One of the wisest design choices Vic3 did was let you still play for achievements independent of ironman and console commands, with the reasoning just being "It's your game, play it how you want."
@NIKKE_en Maybe I'm completely wrong about if and when to expect it but is there a reason Neon: Vision Eye isn't available for wishlisting in the Ordinary Recruit banner yet?
@Danaturr@Errorvator I was sitting here, thinking to myself "Dang, I hope I get to hear what Danatur thinks about this. I need Danatur's take before I form an opinion."
@PatternDrifter@DallasTexasTV@darrenrovell The cost of it will have been negotiated and priced into the deal between stadium ownership and the event organizers* for renting the stadium.
*Basically, an LLC that middle-mans between FIFA, state and local governments, stadium owners, services and vendors, etc.
@PHineinlegen@DallasTexasTV Naming deals include "temporary obscuring" clauses on how to handle this. At the least, it lists types of events where obscuring is allowed and rules for it.
Most real deals go much deeper, but the takeaway is that it's long since agreed on, even if there's zero compensation.
@MintFantome Usually my hand, often my face.
I often work backwards here: If I'm almost done with a tubof sour cream I'll break some Doritos into it, throw in a little taco sauce or even just spices (cumin, cayenne, etc.), any meat or veg that needs to be used up, stir, and eat with a spoon.
@echantech1@edzitron Enterprise token billing also shows just how fragile the *real, customer-based* business is here. If an in-the-know company (Uber) faceplanted this hard because of it, then that's a hint of what happens when customers start being exposed to the actual price of the product. (3/3)
@echantech1@edzitron You act like Uber's leaders are making offhanded comments. Uber's a multi-billion dollar investor in AI tech. To have one of the loudest voices complimenting the Emperor's clothes turn around and talk about how it's not all its cracked up to be isn't done accidentally. (2/3)
@DMAC_LA Hey, it's time the... uh... [*checks logo*] LR Dodgers got the refresh they need. It's the 21st century, we need to remind everyone of the trolleys, a reference that is totally related to their current incarnation in California and has nothing to do with previous team history.
