@JordyFidis No skill inheritance? I think I rather go play Advance Wars then. The core innovation of FE over Famicom Wars is unit personalization, of which skills inheritance are just a natural evolution of.
Those skill less games are still there, you can go play those.
@JordyFidis Nobody be hating FEEngage here? Not me that is.
Making only combat give skill experience is just class skill grinding in 3H/FW and SP grinding in Engage, which is worse and much more grindy in time than obtain skill levels via instruction/arena.
@JordyFidis@AttaJac My view is POR series are shitty games and represents a deadend for the IP and series low point . Glad we left that behind.
It is the failure of those games that made IS grope harder for alternative mechanics than can help the IP, with much stumbling along the way
@HoundPlus@Colin61455279@orphnochs Not really. He lost his village, that's the start of his fighting days.
Then he fought for a while, almost settled down (with child) then upped again because fighting is the only time he feels alive.
@Lux_Of_Ldn People always say this scene is so goat, but nobody ever note that this technique was Morag's.
Rex truely was a the blessed kid who was taught and loved by his sisters and brothers.
@CybriskGX@Penguin4456_ And you know how the work and vision is divided exactly?
Of the 5, only one is tapped to make the direct sequel. Be reasonable.
@DanielOlimac@bouch3ar55727 Konami clearly has a strategy adjustment that takes account or their diversification away from relying on their (still highly profitable) mobile division, while reining in the excesses from Kojima AAA era.
They are trying to find the niche it Profitable AA.
@DanielOlimac@bouch3ar55727 I will remain silent because your analysis is rather superficial and hope your customers are gettings their money's worth with views more substantial than "dur hur AA might struggles against AAA, if bad".
@DanielOlimac@bouch3ar55727 Turns out alot of these people stopped after BLWK. As I expected, given the decades obersting of console gamer behavior in the Chinese market, since initiation Famicons was a thing.
Similar comparing Konami AA efforts to Chinese AAAA is not rational.
@DanielOlimac@bouch3ar55727 You were hyping how console (PS) is breaking out finally after BLWK on scattered reports of sellouts and rentals from BLWK demand.
I told you it was a flash in a pan, because BLWK itself was the phenomena, not consoles. Consoles' market audience in this market remains niche.
@DanielOlimac@bouch3ar55727 Majority of the hits in the JP F2P market remains Japanese.
Meanwhile majority of the Chinese Devs are copying From's output (with modifications to settings) and Mihoyo is copying Animal Crossing after years of self cannibalization.
@DanielOlimac@bouch3ar55727 This comment is as shallow as your old console market in China take, the great Chinese console awakening didnt happen after BLWK.
Chinese F2P games have taken a share of the market, yes. it just makes them competitive in the Japanese market, not dominating.
