Over the past week, I have pursued the role of Operational Firearms Commander and tonight was my first night within the role. I was out as XF17 in an Audi A6 and dealt with multiple DFI's. Great night with great jobs, enjoyed it very much.

Tonight I was XF63 taking part of Operation Lincoln. The operation is focused on tackling firearm crimes within the #Northam area and to serve warrants for firearms offences. I completed multiple overt carry patrols in-line with the op.

Tonight I'll be out as #XF13 in a Volvo XC90 following my completion of my Advanced Driver Training being completed and passed. Can't wait to be out in this amazing car tonight and doing tactics with the lads.

First ARU shift completed. I was out with my Skipper @1289AR_HRPC. We were responding to various calls in a BMW X5. I was able to attend a range of jobs such as:

Today is the day that I have passed my Authorized Firearms Officer course after the thorough and intense training I was put through.

I had the chance to grab some pictures during and after the training. Can't wait to be out tomorrow with the lads in ARV's.

Last Night, I was out as XDF21 (Firearms Support Dog) assisting firearms in their operational duties.

Whilst on shift I attended variety of jobs alongside the OFC which included:

After an Expression of Interest was placed into the Armed Response Unit. I have been accepted into ARU as a constable.

My Authorized Firearms Officer course will follow soon where I will then be able to join the lads on shift in ARV's preventing gun crime.
