It breaks my heart what’s happening to our nation’s #pubs, to the hardworking people who run them, the hardworking staff & all the families who rely on them for their livelihoods. Sadly Ministers either don’t understand or don’t care. We need to fight for our pubs #SupportPubsNOW

Full of optimism for next year, nothing feels better than dumping 2020 down the drain where it belongs.

[Tom Stainer @WBandBEER]

Hi @BorisJohnson @10DowningStreet pubs are at the heart of my community and are vital to tackling social isolation. Will you make sure all pubs are treated fairly and get better financial support so everyone can socialise safely in the run up to Christmas? #PubsMatter

[CAMRA @CAMRA_Official]

It's about mental health. #PubsMatter

For some people, the loss of a local pub means the loss of their social network. A study conducted by @UniofOxford found that people who have a local that they visit regularly tend to feel more socially engaged & contented. ❤️
