@luisbeldroega Yes. That has been true for many years in the inland provinces. I learned Mandarin at school and spoke dialect with people who speak it. My Korean ethnic friends were offered classes to learn Korean at school because of their ethnicity. No one bans dialect.

The toilets at my workplace in Tokyo really have timers. Not displayed outside though—there’s a tablet inside. When your usage time exceeds a certain threshold, it reminds you that you’ve been in the toilet longer than xx minutes and tells you to pay attention to your health💩

@RnaudBertrand sheep head is great. my family used to order a whole sheep for Chinese New Year. The sheep’s head was boiled, the meat was stripped off to make “sheep head meat,” (a type of sausage) and the sheep joints were my toys 😇
