One reason AI sucks at design is because you're bad at telling it what you want
Experienced designers have a thousand shorthands for expressing design in words:
- "set the text tighter/looser", "bump the leading"
- "tighten it up", "let it breathe", "fix the hierarchy"
- "anchor", "rhythm", "negative space"
Feels like a skill waiting to be written here
Julian:
"I thought it was over. I ain't gonna lie to you. Getting waived with no warning, no nothing, explanation or anything, it was tough. Big, big shout out to the San Antonio Spurs taking an opportunity to a kid from Brooklyn"
Texas ran a $33b surplus in 2023. Voters approved moving $1b of that into an endowment for parks, and now the state is on track to add ~1 new state park per year for a decade.
You love to see it!
Meet our newest addition: Silver Lake State Park. 🥳
Just two hours west of San Antonio, this incredible landscape will expand recreational opportunities for Texans and generations to come.

every AI Devfluencer or AI related link needs to tell you upfront how much its gonna cost to run a specific tutorial or setup in tokens and $$$. Lots of great content out there and then you start to run things and its token usage balloons
@realchrisebert Exactly most of these bullshit post and tutorials don’t mention cost at all. Most developers can’t afford these types of scenarios where you run all kinds of agents
Boris Cherny, the creator of Claude Code:
"Every night I have like a few thousand agents running."
A few thousand AI agents, working overnight, monitored from his phone.
So while you're babysitting 6 ChatGPT tabs by hand, the guy who built Claude Code runs thousands of them.
Watch the him explain how, then read the full breakdown below👇
Sister Bernadette of the Salesians in San Antonio was one of the nuns who were at the game not only cheering but also praying for the Spurs. 🙏🏼
Someone mentioned putting together a GoFundMe to send them all to OKC, but knowing them, they’d do something charitable for someone else with all the money raised.
Join me in saying a prayer for them and for our Spurs as they head out for Game 5.

First Nike ad that gave me chills since No Cinderellas, and it’s not even real.
It’s by a 20 yr old designer named Asher Hyde.
Nike creative is getting lapped by kids.
Luke is inspiring as a Catholic, honestly. People may laugh at this, but he's serious. He cites Christ as a big part of his journey to this point.
Talked with him about Lent back during the Rodeo Road Trip. Super cool to get to know him, in that sense. #PorVida
Skills should be:
- Concise
- Responsible for one thing, not multi-step
- Composable
- Progressively disclosed
- Harness-agnostic
What else? Or - what did I get wrong?
