@iqrafatma1278 You ungrateful asshole. He literally said that was all he had. He could have just said “Oh well.” and not tipped at all. Seems like he probably should have.
A small public service announcement from the Department of Things That You Should Know…
It has not “peeked” your interest.
Nor has it “peaked” your interest.
…It has piqued your interest.
You are not “phased” by something.
You are fazed by it.
If you’ve had a long day, you are weary.
If you suspect someone is an idiot, you are wary.
It is “due course”, not “do course”.
“Per se”, not “per say”.
And while we’re here, it’s “could have”, not “could of”, but that particular battle may already be lost.
Thank you for your attention during this brief outbreak of grammatical housekeeping.
This has been a @LairdofthManor announcement.🎩💙
Hey, idiot! It's not like he has a trillion dollars sitting in a bank account somewhere. He became a trillionaire because a company he founded, and still owns a large percentage of, went public and a lot of people see the value in owning a portion of it. I know you know this. My comment is for your useful idiots who don’t understand how financial markets work. You know, the ones that you’re trying to rile up with this deceptive post.
@RoKhanna@elonmusk@EleanorClift@MarkHalperin It is a values issue, we value people’s freedom and don't own the labor and talents of others. If someone wants the benefits of another person’s labor and talents they have to pay for it. I don't understand why this is such a hard concept for liberals.
@StephenKing Trump played the politics game when he was a private citizen and donated to those who could help his businesses. Now he makes promises during campaigns and *gasp* does his best to keep them when he gets elected. How dare he!
Unfortunately, that was from a time when people’s oaths actually meant something. It’s obvious that some in congress have taken the oath to become citizens without actually putting US interests above their country of birth as required by said oath. Those whose first allegiance is not to the US should not take part in our government.
@KingFrostIII@ClearionB@RepNancyMace Ted Cruz was born in Canada to a US citizen and held dual US and Canadian citizenship until 2014 when he renounced his Canadian citizenship.
@PeteButtigieg Just because you keep repeating the lie doesn’t make it true. Show the maps! Show what your side wants vs what the Republicans want. Let’s see who is really gerrymandering. Oh, you won’t do that because then we’d see you’re lying.
You’re mad that the court upheld the constitution of the Commonwealth that you are the Governor of? That a wild take. Considering that half of the state votes Republican it is obvious to everyone who doesn’t have a Liberal Democrat agenda that the current map is more than fair. Your “restoring fairness” (another violation of Virginia law by calling it that) is anything but fair.
I guess state constitutions mean as little to you as the US constitution does. The votes should never have taken place and in the case of Virginia the wording of the referendum was intentionally misleading. You don’t “restore fairness” by taking a map of a 50/50 split state from a 6 to 5 representative split and changing it to a 10 to 1 split.
