Just listened to @paulreiddublin on Pat Kenny, "5 vaccinations per hr"???There SHOULD be 1 Vaccinator and 1 person for info & aftercare to speed up what is already a pitiful rollout.Also HSE guidelines are not fit for purpose. TOTAL contradictions and mixed messaging=more cases.

@paulreiddublin @HSELive One would think that the vaccinating of 3000 people in a day was something to be proud of, it's NOT, it's shambolic to say the least. This age group should have received their vaccine in January.Meanwhile,other vulnerable people are at risk & the lives of our youth on hold.

@LeoVaradkar @IEHospitalGroup @cho6 OMG, the Vaccination Rollout in this country is a total joke. The Government need to SERIOUSLY STEP UP & get VACCINES into the Country & into ARMS. The UK have now vaccinated over 4 times our WHOLE POPULATION. People are tired, weary & scared. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

The EU has been termed by Politico as the 'Epicentre of inoculation scepticism' and once again the matter of Litigation should there be potential probs with ANY of the Vaccines is to the fore of the EU's priorities, instead of getting the Vaccines authorised and into arms asap

Spent a considerable amount of time tonight researching info as to WHY our Vaccination Rollout is SO pathetic and the overriding fact is that EU Bureaucracy is costing lives and economies every day. Penny pinching and unnecessary long drawn-out negotations have us where we are.

@LeoVaradkar @rte Why can there not be a WORLD Medicines Board when it comes to approving Vaccines? with Medical Scientist Representatives from all over the world. Surely it would speed up the whole process. What is going to take the EMA so long 2 authorise when J&J has bn approved in the US 4 use

The EU seriously need to STEP UP and accelerate the Vaccination Rollout. @DonnellyStephen needs to shout louder for Ireland.We need vaccination in order to get back to ANY kind of normality. It's just not acceptable the time it is taking 2 vaccinate a small population.

The FDA have Authorised the Johnston & Johnston 1 dose Vaccine for use in the US with shots being given as early as this week. It is going to take the EMA at least 3 weeks before even considering this vaccine and all the while European lives, jobs and economies are on the line???

It's bn an interesting conversation,but "never the twain shall meet" IF Joe Biden is given ANY chance HE will unite what Trump has divided so acrimoniously.
