Exciting postdoc opportunity on long read sequencing of human clinical material, in my group in Copenhagen https://t.co/gdosqvNAW9 @PostdocPhd@PostdocO
Have you spotted the luckiest co-supervisor / postdoc at the conference? Surrounded by these brilliant students and a 5-month-old!
Favorite conference so far!
@cphbat2017#CPHBAT2024
Had a great first day at #CPHBAT2024! Fantastic talks and the chance to present and get input on my co-supervisor @HandeTopel and mine, and my colleague Nadia’s work on AOC3 targeting in #obesity. Feeling very lucky for being in such an inspiring scientific environment and team
Our paper is now online at @NatMetabolism! Check it out to learn more about the built-in break mechanism in BAT activation.
@sajjad_khani@DagmarWachten @Kornfeld_JanW
Extremely happy for my former colleague @sajjad_khani, @HandeTopel@DagmarWachten & @Kornfeld_JanW to see this work published @NatMetabolism now!
A novel rheostat to brown fat function🔥
https://t.co/L6Xw6Tx2sK
Thrilled that our huge team effort with @Kornfeld_JanW is out in @NatMetabolism 🥳 supported by @TRR_BATenergy A huge thank you to all collaborators! If you want to know how a truncated AC3 isoform regulates #BAT function, have a look here https://t.co/sOZAersi2D
Accepting a round of applications for a week before shortlisting
The shortlist is too short at the moment :(
Inviting candidates with experience in hiPSC-based cardiac differentiation models/Genome engineering/ Ribo-seq/ Proteomics/ polysome profiling/ data analysis
Extremely overwhelmed with this feeling of going back to my postdoc lab and feel HOME. Thank you for these two emotional and amazing days 🥹🥹🥹 see you around the world! @MPI_Metabolism
How does mitochondria sense and control their glutathione levels? Our new work @ScienceMagazine by a fantastic student @YuyangLiu1996 describing a redox metabolite sensing mechanism for mitochondria. @RockefellerUniv@TheMarkFdn https://t.co/6JxemVxbbS
IS THE SCIENTIFIC PUBLICATION, AS WE KNOW IT, DEAD?! 400 years ago, the first scientific publications were published. Whilst the science has progressed, the format, a publication in a journal, has not. We challenged the participants on the subject at this year's Postdoc Summit 👇
Interested in working on primary #cilia signaling funded by @NSF@dfg_public, combining genetics, proteomics, optogenetics at @TamaraGenes@MickLab@DagmarWachten ? Apply now! Our labs have open calls for a #PhDposition and a technician. Please get in touch if you are interested!
In this study, driven by @tcppham🔥we integrated diet-induced obesity Drosophila and mouse models, metabolomics studies, and a multitude of metabolic screening approaches and identify TNIK as a conserved regulator of glucose and lipid metabolism in obesity https://t.co/nald6l3U2l
Having the opportunity to report short but original experimental data timely through a peer-reviewed process is amazing.
Thanks @BBAjournals for enabling researchers to share their brief significant scientific observations as research letters. (3/3)
Our short data report presents in vitro evidence for the selective role of c-Met in extravasation of HCC cells through endothelial barrier into hepatocyte microenvironment. (1/3)

In this experimental setup, we used a LOC device to establish a 3D microenvironment mimicking endothelial barrier and organ-specific cell type niches (hepatocytes, bone marrow fibroblasts, lung epithelia) to study extravasation and homing behaviour of HCC cells. (2/3)
📢 Our group is looking for a #postdoc 👩🔬🧑🔬 to help us unravel the molecular mechanism of #vascular adaptations in response to #obesity and #cancer. If you wish to join our dynamic and #international team apply here 👉 https://t.co/2gPIxfXmmx The call is closing on the 20. July.
