‘He used to drive the 1¼ miles to his gym, and ... he and his partner were considering buying a second car.

Dan developed depression after a bereavement at university and was prescribed cycling for his mental health as part of a ground-breaking Cycling UK referral scheme. The Cycle for Health scheme in West Yorkshire helps people improve their bike-handling skills and build confidence.
We need you! Is your local cycling network suffering from some illogical markings? Not sure if the trail is a footpath or bridleway? Send us photos of your cycling network conundrums to help us make important improvements to cycling access. https://t.co/qWryzeFsx8
Woke up & made a very last minute decision to do the @TommyGodwin1 100. Still struggling and only just on the way back to trying to get fit, but made it out there & round. A tad nervous about @VeloBirmingham now.

With my final long training ride done, I am excited for @VeloBirmingham in 2 weeks time. 100 miles in support of @uhbtrust and a great chance to support cycling in the West Midlands. @TransportforWM will be out in force - supporting colleagues from Birmingham & across the region.
