A rally was held in Paris before the Olympics in honor of Ukrainian athletes who died as a result of the war with Russia.

Russia has killed 488 Ukrainian athletes, 20 Olympic and gold champions among them since the full-scale invasion began.

The demonstration was held by French Union of Ukrainians and World Ukrainian Congress.

The peaceful rally was attended by about a thousand people wearing T-shirts with the names of the victims, as well as several city deputies and representatives of the Administration of Paris.

In addition to showing solidarity, the participants of the rally also called for the removal of representatives of Russia and Belarus from the 2024 Olympic Games, even under a neutral flag.

We have a terrible heat wave in Ukraine. It's been hot for a long time, but it's up to 40 degrees Celsius these days.
What makes it even worse are electricity blackouts, so air conditioners do not work. The elderly and small children suffer the most.
But it is possible to survive.

I await this winter with horror. The cold is worse than heat, and Russia continues to hit what is left of our energy system.

People I know from this sector are moving heaven and earth trying to prepare for winter blackouts. Civilian infrastructure and hospitals are the most important.
The contacts and needs of an organization that works with Kyiv hospitals are below. If anyone can help, please do. This help is crucial now because when the cold comes it will be, unfortunately, too late.

❗️It is extremely important to install ORC (Organic Rankine Cycle) co-generation systems at the facilities to provide boiler houses with electricity and partial supply to the needs of hospitals in the city and region.

We ask for your help in supplying ORC systems that can operate with hot water at 95/70°C with a capacity of 0.2MWh to 0.5MWh in the amount of 6 pcs.

Four 80-100 kiloWatts diesel generators are also needed to support the system.

If you know anyone who can help with these requests, please contact [email protected], head of Ukrainske Teplo (Ukrainian Heat) company. They are a direct provider of heating for hospitals in Kyiv and Kyiv region.
