@wesbos@udemy Have you looked into adding digital credentials to the course @wesbos? It's a great way to fight piracy and add a new rev stream. (See @BadgeList, @OpenBadges, etc)
Hey @justinfagnani, question: I've got a "badge certificate" web component built with lit and I want to be able to write it to PNG and PDF, but on a backend server. Any recommendations?
@ASeizew @kairyssdal The alternative doesn't exist yet, but ideally the economy/budget structure would be self-managing based on preset rules & conditions.
Political action would only be needed to make changes to those conditions, rather than annual midnight sessions just to maintain the status quo.

First real customer walks in and asks where the bathroom is. The bar bursts into flames, killing everyone.
"And across the west, policymakers will have to restore Indigenous land stewardship and work with Native American fire practitioners to burn more land."
I've been trying to wrap my head around how exactly we solve the fire problems in California long term. This article from the @guardian does a great job of breaking down the pieces:

"In the meantime, residents may have to ease out of fire-prone wildlands and build homes that are designed to be more resilient to fires. California will have to renovate its outdated, dangerous electrical grids..."
