Armed Forces personnel from the @RoyalAirForce, @BritishArmy & @RoyalNavy were captured today by Sgt Wise as they attended a reception at @UKParliament

Personnel were involved in the evacuation of over 15,000 British nationals & vulnerable Afghans during Op PITTING

This weekend the UK Armed Forces deployed to Kabul to assist in evacuating Afghan civilians and eligible personnel.

They will remain in place to see that these people can be taken to safety.

⚠️ Latest numbers from Operation PITTING:

- 8,458 people have been evacuated by the UK since 13 August
- 5,171 of those people are Afghan Relocation and Assistance Policy claimants
- Nine UK military flights have left Kabul in the last 24 hours
