Such devastating news. I’m truly heart broken and sick to my stomach thinking of Jimmy’s wife along with the rest of his family. What a genuine person he was. Rest In Peace my friend. Life makes zero sense.
@RearAdBsBlog had Dallas tonight on over 5.5 goals and the win at +4.5... threw a nice nickel on it. But could not get the empty netter :/ Gonna be looking at what you say on @spittinchiclets this week!
@ColeSutherland4@KIN110UofR Very good point there are lots of sports teams that throw garbage onto the ice when there team performs bad. At rider games there are always things being throwen at the refs and opposing players.
@JuanVar62551361@KIN110UofR@JuanVar62551361@KIN110UofR to be honest with you dude I think that you can prove yourself on a team by leaving it all on the line during game time. I don’t think hazing is going anywhere tho. Coaches ultimately have the final say as to what goes on, on their team.
@wurm_joel@KIN110UofR I believe that the owners have no right to touch an opponent player especially if it was unwanted. If the player asked them for help up then maybe. They should make no contact with the opposing teams players.
@KIN110UofR Roberto osuna is a good example of violence taking over into athletes life. He had a domestic abuse offence against him from his then girlfriend. He was one of the blue jays strong closers. He was then traded to the Houston astros from the Toronto Blue jays.
@Fallat99@BriannaSwyryda@KIN110UofR In regards to violence portraying to outside the ring in today’s class talk. Is Connor Mcgregor not a good example of this in regards to his violence in his home country of Ireland where he beat a guy up for refusing to try his line of whiskey??
@KIN110UofR take for example, Zach Kassian of the oilers he was drafted 9th overall@by Vancouver back in the 2011 draft, he had a lot of skill and was drafted for that. He might be a very physical player and fight but that does not necessarily make him the goon.
@KIN110UofR Do Gms in the NHL actually go out and sign “goons” it is not like these players are known as goons in there junior career. These players might play tough but can they actaully be considered goons? These guys are not just drafted to be goons? They have potential.
@NoahSorrell4 @KIN110UofR Since Andrew Harris was suspended a couple games this season, do you think that he should of won MVP in the grey cup as well as top Canadian? It has never been done before? First time in CFL history he won both awards. So what does that say since he was suspended?
@Fallat99@KIN110UofR As said creatine is banned by leagues such as the WHL and the NHL, even though it is produced naturally in the body it is seen when taking more that you can enhance your performance. Maybe as a sprinter they could enhance there performance. But a hockey player? Who knows...
@JuanVar62551361@KIN110UofR There is for sure! Take a look at the St.Louis Blues for example, last year after Christmas they were last in the league and they ended up winning the Stanley cup without making any big roster moves. That says a lot about a group of guys that spend 8 months of the year together.
@JuanVar62551361@KIN110UofR I could see the people that enjoyed Don cherry’s coaches corner calling for Jessica Allen to be fired. For her stereotypical comments rather then how people voted. Personally I think she should be out of a job, I loved coaches corner, did not vote liberal.
@KIN110UofR Are the same people that are now calling Don Cherry a racist for his words on sport net not the ones that voted back in a prime minister that did something much worse by wearing blackface?! #DoubleStandard
@JuanVar62551361@ColeSutherland4@KIN110UofR I believe this could of been the last straw that Sportsnet was allowing with Don Cherry, as in the past he has made what people say some controversial comments. He is a Canadian icon and sometimes needs to filter his thoughts as he says what his mind thinks
