@FoundationDads @pschmitz41 30 years ago if a person did cheat they certainly wouldn’t have openly admitted it and they probably would have felt at least some guilt about it. That attitude is gone now.

@FoundationDads This attitude is fairly recent, but absolutely widespread. Students now expect to cheat and see nothing wrong with it; they admit to it with no shame. The grade is all that matters. Sadly, the overemphasis on grades made this outcome rather inevitable.

@Homeschool_LLC I would sometimes worry that we weren’t “doing enough” as homeschoolers. Then one of my kids enrolled part-time at our local high school and I was shocked at how low the standards were. Now I have no doubt that he gets a better education at home.

@Rach4Patriarchy My son worked as a lifeguard at local pool. The guards are high school & college kids. An overweight girl was hired & there was an incident when she was the one at the station where they needed a deep-water save. She couldn’t do it. Thankfully someone else stepped in.

@SketchesbyBoze A reflection of the sorry state of our education system. Now that my homeschooled kids are older, they interact with more kids in the public school system - every week they tell me the words their peers don't know. It's disheartening.

@JeremyTate41 Which is why it’s so disheartening that public schools do such a bad job - in general. It’s not difficult to educate a child. You can raise intelligent, thoughtful, capable individuals with relatively little fuss. But it does require committed, thoughtful parents.

Islamic terrorists hijacked an airliner loaded with tens of thousands of gallons of jet fuel and flew it directly into this man’s office building.

Mamdani speaks of the Americans inside as though they simply “died,” then redirects his condemnation toward the American military for what followed.

The impact ripped through the building and ignited an enormous inferno. Jet fuel poured through the structure. Temperatures became unsurvivable. Smoke filled stairwells and offices. Men and women were trapped dozens of floors above the ground with fire advancing behind them and no possible way down.

Some climbed onto shattered windows hundreds of feet above Manhattan.

Some held hands.

Some jumped.

Think about what it takes for a human being to look down from nearly 100 stories and conclude that hitting the pavement at terminal velocity is preferable to what is happening behind them.

They did not choose death because they wanted to die. They chose one form of death because Islamic terrorists had left them facing another… suffocation, incineration, or being crushed beneath a collapsing skyscraper.

Nearly 3,000 people were murdered that morning.

They did not simply “die.”

They were slaughtered by Islamic terrorists.

And when someone recounts September 11 by softening the murder of Americans into passive tragedy, only to recover his moral outrage when discussing America’s response, he reveals where his sympathy and anger actually reside.

September 11 was the deliberate mass murder of Americans, in their offices, aboard their airplanes, and on American soil, by Islamic terrorists.

I was Governor of New York on September 11, 2001. The planes did not simply crash into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. They were hijacked and deliberately flown into those buildings by Islamist terrorists.
