For anyone who has had the privilege of caring for pancreatic cancer patients and their families- a trial with a doubling of overall survival in the setting of advanced disease is nothing short of remarkable.
We must continue to have #HOPE for #PDAC because look where we are today!

Outstanding article!
I wholeheartedly endorse!
โIn a 2009 study of academic faculty physicians, researchers measured how much time each person spent on the activity they found most meaningful, then measured burnout. The pattern was stark. Physicians who spent less than 20% of their time on that activity had a burnout rate of 53.8%. Those at or above 20% sat at 29.9%. Time on the most meaningful work was the strongest predictor of burnout in the analysis, ahead of total hours worked. (Shanafelt and colleagues, Archives of Internal Medicine, 2009.)โ
Amazing #TumorBoardTuesday. Excellent discussion. I came away understanding the trial, this combination, and possible promising future avenues this study opens. Plus I had a fangirl moment with the brightest stars in Colorectal cancer care. My week is made! Thank you @CathyEngMD and @SpenceLessansMD
