My baby gets her dialysis line removed on Monday. Overjoyed that she hopefully won’t need dialysis again anytime soon but dreading the day because they’ve booked her surgery for 2pm. No food or drink after midnight. She’s 14 months old.

In the grand scheme of things , this shouldn’t be a big deal. Her kidneys seem to be working again, I should be so happy. But howwww am I going to not feed my baby for a day?
