People love to preach “mental health matters”…
Right up until someone’s symptoms become inconvenient.
Then suddenly it’s attention seeking,
being dramatic, or making excuses.
Support isn’t real if it only exists when it’s easy.
Suicidal thoughts aren’t always..
I want to die.
Sometimes they sound like.
I can’t keep doing this.
I’m exhausted.
I need everything to stop for a minute.
I don’t know how to survive another day like this.
My mind won’t give me peace.
This pain feels endless.
I’m drowning inside my own head.
These thoughts aren’t attention seeking.
They’re distress signals.
Matthew 28:5-6
But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay.”
🙏
This gesture is widely recognized as a discreet way for someone to signal they need help, allowing victims to ask for assistance without drawing attention.
Be on the lookout!
This is Kate Steinle
She was shot and k*lled by an illegal immigrant while walking with her father on a California pier.
She was only 32.
Her life mattered.
Erika Kirk, just days after Charlie’s murder, stood and forgave his killer.
This is a reminder that nations rise and fall, flags fade, rulers die, but Christ remains.
