An intense area of high pressure in the North Atlantic will dominate our weather this weekend, and could challenge some March pressure records for the UK
How high will the pressure get?
Here's the chart from 1902 when we recorded the highest pressure over the UK, 1053.6 hPa in Aberdeen. This weekend, the pressure is rising and we could get over 1050 hPa for the first time since 1957 and maybe even close to the 1902 record
