I'm officially running for the Bransgore, Burley, Sopley & Ringwood East ward in the upcoming New Forest District Council election!
This will be my second time running for a seat on the District Council!
Thank you to everyone who supported me in the Brockenhurst Division election for Hampshire County Council.
It wasn’t the result I hoped for, but I’m grateful to everyone who voted, spoke with me, or gave me their time.
I learnt a lot... and this won’t be my last election!
It’s Election Day in parts of the UK today.
I’m not here this morning to tell you who to vote for. Vote for the person you believe is best for your area, whatever colour rosette they wear.
Then hold them accountable. Don’t settle for less than your community deserves.
Go vote.
Thank you to everyone who came along to tonight’s Brockenhurst hustings!
It was lovely to chat, answer questions, and hear what matters locally.
If anything didn’t get answered, pop it in the comments ☺️
For one night, and one night only - I'll be taking to the stage near (some) of y'all!
That's right, this Monday, the 27th of April, I'll be answering your questions live!

@HantsIOW_fire, you wouldn't happen to have an informational graphic about how residents can better react to seeing/reporting forest fires? Or based on any safety guidance?
Any support on this matter would be wonderful :)
That’s why I believe there should be a form of resident permit or local access scheme.
This needs to be about balance. Protecting the forest, yes, but also protecting fair access to it!
From tomorrow, April 20th, Forestry England are introducing parking charges across the New Forest!
This change will be felt most by local people. The New Forest isn’t just a "destination", it’s part of daily life for many of us!
Prices start at £1.50 for one hour, rising to £8 for anything over four hours.
Car parks will operate between 4:00am and 11:00pm, with a 15-minute grace period in place, and tickets will be valid across multiple Forestry England sites.
18 days to go until May 7th!
The first week of the campaign is done. I’ve been out speaking to residents, handing out leaflets, knocking on doors, and hearing what’s actually going on across the area...
A lot of it isn’t being talked about enough.
This is just the start!
