Problems are not real things.

They are a mental conclusions about the way things ‘shouldn’t be.’ A thick layer of interpretation, added to what’s already happening.

3. Meditation solves your problems by revealing they don’t exist.

On my retreat, there was little to pay attention to: no talking, no music, nothing to do.

All I could hear was my mind shouting at the world.

Their happiness is held hostage by:
• External validation
• Vacations going perfectly
• Constant entertainment
• Always feeling productive
