Plenty on the news today about lifting of wedding restrictions. Worth pointing out that my fiancée is legally allowed to stop at her dad’s house overnight, be driven by him to venue, hug him outside but when walking down the aisle he must wear a mask.Ridiculous #whataboutweddings

We have an ice cream van coming in the evening. Straight from its regular pitch in a nature park. Queuing for an ice cream in the park is fine. Eating it stood up is fine. For the wedding, we currently need to employ a waiter to hand deliver these to a table. #whataboutweddings

Nothing like one rule for one, track and trace would mean the entire team need to self isolate. The same as if someone later tested positive at a wedding, the ENTIRE wedding party would isolate because weddings are such “super spreaders”#whataboutweddings

It really is vitally important that registrars are contacted and urged to be as sympathetic as possible with couples so that they receive the best experience possible, not mean-spirited ‘rules’ that aren’t reflected in the guidance @Siobhan_Baillie #whataboutweddings
