Sadly I think this is the wrong mentality, tarkov is niche for a reason. pvp extraction games have significant depth, most people wont ever experience doing an intercept profit opportunity. The game has valid criticisms from a casual perspective, not every negative comment is a farce. Im pretty tired while writing this so my point may come through poorly but this is not a friendly game for the first 10 hours. anecdotally i can tell you friends of mine had their opinions flipped after a couple hours once they finally grasped the game is not just “do quest, loot here, fight”. There is significant depth and complexity to the gameplay loop driven by profit opportunities (in game events). The only reason I am so far ahead is because i understand these systems quite well and have used them to progress far past what my vendors could sell to me right now. you need to understand how the world works and what potential events can happen, how they work and what loot they drop. want to target farm green-purple mods? farm airdrops, want to get purple shields? farm a world boss. i think given time people will warm up to the game, but its first 5-10 hours for a new player is brutal and there is no avoiding that. even if you start to understand this loop, like some friends have, you are only just touching the surface of what the game offers on a run to run basis. the quests are cool, they promote fun gameplay and they will get you deterministic access to high quality gear through faction unlocks given enough time. the game is unintuitive in its progression, the first 20 hours of any given wipe your good gear will all come from doing events rather than vendors. it goes against the extraction shooter mold and because of that people are misunderstanding the game. i get theres some people hating just to hate but initial impressions of this game, in every case ive seen personally, are not even remotely close to the impressions after 5-10 hours. its a deep game, give people time to realize that. we dont even have outpost in this test and fuck me that map is deep. enjoy the game, share it with your friends. dont fall into the trap of trying to be the other side to negativity because it will just ruin your time with this game and discourse about it on social media. im tired now so im going to sleep but if you read to the end of this post thx ur cool have a good day
