Dieynaba portait la mémoire des 28 hommes peuls exécutés et torturés il y a 33 ans un crime d’État, raciste, jamais reconnu, jamais jugé.

What does a Borderless Africa feel like?
At the Africa Movements Baraza, we hosted The Borderless Session, a powerful breakout and something extraordinary happened.

People didn’t just attend.
They shared.
Stories poured out—how visa denials affect Africans the most, 12-hour border delays, warm welcomes in unfamiliar cities, and the thrill of crossing borders with just courage and a backpack.

We spoke of the dreams the Borderless Africa campaign is chasing and how monumental they could be.
Of the journeys already made—from Arusha to Lusaka—and the 20,000+ voices that have signed the petition by Africans Rising calling for free movement across the continent.

Yes, even here, we got to learn about real roadblocks we needed to eliminate. Some delegates struggled to sign because the petition form demanded a Ghanaian phone number.

They asked: “If this is about a borderless Africa, why are we stopped by a digital gate?”

Point taken. We’re fixing it.
Because this movement is built by real people, not perfect systems.

This morning in Kampala, we were invited for a meeting by the former Vice President of Uganda, who is also the Presidential Advisor of the Environment, H.E. Prof. Gilbert Bukenya, in his office in Kampala. PACJA agreed to collaborate with his office in rolling out forest restoration and livelihood improvement programs for communities impacted by climate change in Uganda.
