This man is going viral for showing up to an Anti-ICE protest in NJ. People thought he was there to cause trouble. They were wrong.
He’s never protested before. He came because he saw kids running from ICE on the news and couldn’t sit at home. This is the best of America.
There seems to be some confusion about the SAVE America Act. If it becomes law, you will NOT be able to vote with your drivers license alone.
You’d need:
1. A passport, which more than half of Americans don’t have and costs at least $130
OR
2. A birth certificate PLUS your photo ID with matching names, which nearly 70 million married women lack
OR
3. Military services papers (not a military ID alone) with sensitive info.
I’m voting NO.
@ChillyWeirdo To be fair, it wasn’t her looks that was her issue. It was her lack of confidence. Her looks didn’t really change drastically. She changed her hair and got a new dress. As soon as she felt worthy, others could see that. Confidence is attractive.
@FlagAndFire@Acyn Liberty dies when “just enforcing the law” replaces equal protection, due process, and restraint. That’s why the Constitution exists in the first place. Government exists to secure rights, not suspend them in the name of “order.”
@FlagAndFire@Acyn The colonists weren’t arguing for conditional rights. They were arguing that power itself needed restraint. A culture that reflexively justifies lethal force against noncompliant citizens is doing the treading, whether it admits it or not.
@FlagAndFire@Acyn If “don’t tread on me” means opposing oppression and infringements on liberty, then it can’t stop applying the moment the state uses lethal force against someone who isn’t complying. Liberty that evaporates at noncompliance isn’t liberty, it’s permission.
@FlagAndFire@Acyn Defenders argue each shooting is about imminent danger, lawful authority, or disputed facts. When a culture justifies lethal force against non-compliant citizens while invoking ‘Don’t Tread on Me,’ it reveals a selective view of liberty where rights belong only to those who obey.
"All these men out here, for what?!? They're just doing it for money! This is terrible, this is unbelievable, this the USA, it's not friggin third-world country!" -Minneapolis protester wiping tear gas from her eyes after ICE attacked protesters. LIVE NOW ⬇️
