@UKCovid19Stats Hospital admissions are flat. In the low 200s and have been for a number of weeks. Mostly younger people who are being discharged quickly and who are not as likely to need ventilation.
Compare that to a daily admission rate that topped 4500 back in January.

@Fauvistfauvist1 @UKCovid19Stats 354 hospital admissions reported today, compared with 497 last Friday. That combined with the falling death rate is what's important now. The increase in cases is largely due to older school children testing positive (all the pupils at my school are tested twice weekly)
