Dear Malaley (@Malala ), On the same exact day you were attacked, the October 9th, a Pashtun child accompanying his parents traveling from Waziristan to attend a peace Jirga against the very same people who attacked you, was targeted and injured, tens of others killed and injured, a democratic peace jirga, the #PashtunNationalCourt11October where thousands of victims just like yourself would present testimonies of incidents just like what happened to you, was unlawfully attacked, but you constantly avoid supporting the very same victims in the name of who you have made your career. Vice versa, you support the very state responsible for the killing of the children including the one just targeted yesterday. What is the reason for your silence? If you think you are still a child, you are not? If you think you are concerned with children only, the target are children just like the victim yesterday. I just want to remind you that all you have built and achieved are in the name of the same victims whom you deny to support today and not only that, you actively stand beside their rights abuser Pakistanis state. It’s time for you to break the silence and be real. You are not a child anymore and our people are not childish too, anymore!

Live updates from the #PTM members on site: Armed Pakistani forces vs disarmed nonviolent pro-peace Pashtuns, Pashtuns regained the control of camp-ground after three resisting members of #PTM fell to their death today. Local tribal leaders have warned the authorities against committing any further violence and asked for the immediate retreat of the army personnel.
