@Plus3Happiness This might be possible. But a big part is also: "I don't need the expected benefits of making it to my goals anymore to be happy". Most ambitions are not of the make-the-world-a-better-place kind, but get-rich-no-matter-who-I-need-to-hurt-in-the-process kind.
@m_ashcroft@NormanChella I think setting up some kind of bot or using some kind of software or hiring someone to post it everywhere is definitely the best move. Shouldn't be to hard anymore with AI right?
@Chris_a_larson@proud_penelope Schwartz is completely open about the fact that his approach grew out of family systems therapy? And has written an entire book arguing that the Self corresponds to what spiritual traditions have been pointing to all along.
@JonathanShedler@jordanticus It's strange to hear Pim Cuijper tell about this research and then to hear him come to the conclusion that doing anything else beside CGT is unethical because it isn't scientifically proven.
@_brentbaum@zencephalon Reading up on Qigong as a part of year two and just the standing practice is already a gratis way to just feel where your body is misaligned. Following the Kenneth Cohen book.
@richardludlow Interesting. I think the first insights helps with identifying triggers though. In couples counseling it also helps people to stop seeing their problems as being caused by their spouses. After that you can do the healing work.
@meditationstuff Would love to hear your critique on Gendlin! I just put out a piece that says I've solved my existential crisis with the help of experiencing...
@danallison Nice insight! Surprising that the unconsciousness is getting back into therapy so fast. Thinking "things" into existence though... Would love to hear an example of that.
@mattgoldenberg First time I've heard someone adding Ideal Parent Figures to IFS. IPF didn't make any sense to me before I discovered IFS, but afterwards I have always been thinking: "This would fit so well". Disappointed by Schwartz hesitance to talk about other modalities.
@jonnym1ller I've read them too. That was certainly helpfull. Maybe the correct path should be feeling them first and then slowly introducing things like the Feelings wheel.
