मोदीनगर में तीन महिलाओं के साथ मारपीट का वीडियो सामने आया है। वीडियो जारी करने वाले मनीष सिंह का कहना है कि गाय ले जाने के आरोप में बीजेपी और हिंदू संगठन से जुड़ी बताई जा रही सपना अग्रवाल और उसके साथ मौजूद लोगों ने तीनों महिलाओं के साथ बेरहमी से मारपीट की।

वीडियो में पिट रही महिलाएं कहती सुनाई देती हैं, "अगर हम गलत हैं तो हमें पुलिस चौकी ले चलो, पुलिस जांच कर ले। अगर हम दोषी निकलें तो हमारे खिलाफ कार्रवाई कर देना।" इसके बावजूद उनके साथ मारपीट जारी रही।

मनीष सिंह का कहना है कि उन्होंने यह घटना खुद रिकॉर्ड की और सवाल उठाया कि कानून अपने हाथ में लेकर महिलाओं की पिटाई करने का अधिकार आखिर किसने दिया। उन्होंने पूरे मामले में निष्पक्ष पुलिस कार्रवाई की मांग की।

Communal violence targeting Muslims has spread across southeastern Nepal, with at least three people killed and more than 25 injured since unrest erupted on Monday.

The violence began in Sunsari district before spreading to neighbouring areas, including Siraha. Videos circulating online show Hindutva mobs assaulting Muslim families, including elderly people, women and children, while Muslim homes, businesses and mosques were vandalised and set on fire.

Nepalese authorities have imposed indefinite curfews and deployed additional security forces to contain the unrest.
