@AkasaAir Please don't create an impression before @MoCA_GoI and @airsewa_MoCA that the matter is settled. "Major Damage" shouldn't be resolved through step-by-scompensation moving from ₹500→₹700→₹1000→₹2000. Already sent email. Dont just reply, Resolve. UNSATISFIED #PASSENGERRIGHT
Thanks @AkasaAir for turning my luggage into spare parts on flight QP1513 (BLR–DBR). PNR A9UWKQ
Bag arrived with detached wheel with body, marked as “major damage” in PIR. Compensation discussion felt like less support more bargaining. @airsewa_MoCA@DGCAIndia@Mukesh_84
@MoCA_GoI What's the purpose of @airsewa_MoCA if disputed cases are ultimately decided based on whatever the airline says? A grievance platform should ensure independent scrutiny, not simply relay airline responses and mark cases closed. @MoCA_GoI#PassengerRights
@AkasaAir What is more concerning is that the compensation journey started at ₹500, then ₹700, then ₹1k and only reached ₹2k after multiple emails, social media follow-ups and an AirSewa complaint.
This feels less like a transparent claims process and more like a negotiation exercise.
Waited nearly 2 hours at the airport with my wife and infant daughter hoping for some meaningful resolution. Final outcome: advised to “complain online”for a completely unusable bag. Detailed mail sent 48hrs back still no response from the airline.
