Over 700 childcare jobs advertised on one website most hiring multiple posts, you almost think the sector is at crisis point, when will @rodericogorman be made accountable for the pathetic core funding model based on a pathetic ERO rolled out last year . The sector has lost faith
Large service in Cork gave notice to parents yesterday of closing. 85 families with no where to go. One of the main reasons FUNDING. You cannot continue to deny closures. This is going to have a huge impact on parents and children.@rodericogorman @dcediy @FederationEarly
@MichealMartinTD Less will reach their potential in the future. The Children’s minister is destroying the childcare industry, funding Daycare for children rather than Early Years Education. Parental choice removed as services are left unviable through DCEDIY underfunding. ECCE only places scarce.
Has anyone seen this man @rodericogorman?
What is he doing about the #TuslaCoverUp?
This man isn't fit for the job. He has no children and supports a sick and dangerous ideology.
He needs to #Resign.
145 children are living in emergency care accommodation which could be bnbs or hotels.
Costing 1.4million a week.
It's scandalous that children are left alone in these rooms while #Tusla knows about the grooming gangs using hotels.
The state is failing those most vulnerable in society.
#MakeIrelandSafeAgain
@MaryMag86999606 @MurphyDunne@rodericogorman@peadarmor Not too many providers willing to keep subsidising @rodericogorman ‘s childcare schemes while he kicks the can down the road, and waits for his ECCE review to be completed. He only needed to talk to the people on the ground, but he treats us like something he stepped in.
@Kathleensf1 Minister @rodericogorman cancelled a crucial meeting with Childcare Providers and worried parents about the looming crisis. Because they wanted to bring 6 people instead of 4…? Lack of space? Lack of time? Lack of interest? We are losing sleep over lack of funds.
