The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) is failing workers and employers. Today I spoke about this issue alongside MPP @AlexaNGilmour, Immigration attorney Elizabeth Long, and a constituent of mine who has waited a year for a decision on his OINP application, meanwhile his work permit has expired and he has lost his job.

Not only is Ontario losing skilled global talent because of Ford and Piccini's neglect, companies are loosing good employees. Do not forget that the OINP is by invite only — those who are waiting in limbo are the best and brightest, yet this government ignores them. I have the solution: get them back to work by collaborating with the federal government to extend their work visas. #onpoli #torcen
