Double-whammy sky-watching opportunity from the DC area Tuesday morning!
πͺΌ Space jellyfish: A Falcon 9 rocket launch at 6:33 a.m. from Cape Canaveral, Fla., could produce a "space jellyfish" in the southern and southeastern sky a few minutes later. This phenomenon occurs when a rocket's exhaust plume is illuminated by sunlight high in the atmosphere while the sky below is still dark, creating a glowing, jellyfish-shaped cloud.
π°οΈ ISS fly over: The International Space Station is on track to be visible from the DC region for several minutes starting around 6:35 a.m., moving across the sky from the south-southwest to the east-northeast.
These two events are connected! The Falcon 9 rocket is carrying supplies to the ISS.
Skies should be mostly clear Tuesday morning, so wake up early and enjoy!

@tomfgoodwin To get you hooked before they will charge you in the future. Was on a couple of United flights and they harped on about how good it is. Damn thing never worked for both flights. Disappointing!
