@liftblog From what I could tell, under 4 miles to the turnoff to the HRM and twilight lits (blue circles). Turn off to the main lot is circled in yellow and arrow pointing to the bottom of the HRM chair.

@liftblog First, in the pnw as soon as the weather changes and spring happens, people's mindset immediately shifts to other sports.

And many don't like soft snow that hasn't snapped that turns sticky.

@liftblog I just hate the ones with the little triangle foot rest that's pretty much useless for a snowboard. Whoever designed them must ski at Alta or deer valley. Example: emerald chair at Whistler.

@liftblog Personally, I'm all about the FOOT REST. And I'm on a snowboard. It gets heavy hanging the board from one foot, especially if it's got a ton of pnw snow still stuck to it. My wife and I both have bad knees so we always bring it down, usually with a "you cool if we bring it down?"

@liftblog In Europe, you have about 3 seconds before someone brings it down without warning. That's why you wear a helmet! And my wife and I got yelled at from the lifties and they slowed the chair until we brought the bar down on a fixed grip double in Zermatt

@liftblog We're here 🇨🇦 right now, we rode Louise today and will be riding Sunshine tomorrow. I'd say lodging in Canmore is $100 a night. But I wasn't seeing that kinda pricing in Banff.

@liftblog Today was supposed to be our first turns of the season. But instead the truck broke down before we even get a mile from home... So instead of riding the Mt Rainier Gondola 🚡 I'm driving to the auto parts store for front wheel bearing/hub assemblies. 😭
