Al-Hidayah 2025 (Day 2, 3rd August): A compelling second keynote lecture delivered by His Eminence Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri on the topic, “Analytical Study of the Western Critical Method.”

Accompanying Shaykh-ul-Islam once again were Professor Dr Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri (Chairman Supreme Council, MQI), Shaykh Hammad Mustafa al-Madani al-Qadri, Shaykh Ahmad Mustafa al-Arabi al-Qadri, Dr Faisal Iqbal Khan, Dr Hamza Ansari, Syed Faizi Ali Shah, Syed Saad Ali Faizi, Dr Ghazala Qadri (President of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League International), Baji Khadija Qurat-ul-Ain Qadri, and Baji Basima Hassan Qadri – all representing the breadth and depth of leadership across Minhaj-ul-Quran International, serving the Ummah.

The lecture was described by many as deeply eye-opening. It unveiled the roots of modern scepticism toward Hadith and equipped attendees with the clarity to respond with confidence and knowledge. With great anticipation, participants now look forward to the final session of the series on 4 August, titled “The Islamic Epistemology of Hadith Verification.” Al-Hidayah 2025 continues to enlighten, uplift, and prepare a new generation to face modern challenges with faith, knowledge, and pride in the Prophetic legacy.

This lecture reaffirmed Al-Hidayah’s enduring mission, now in its 20th year, to combine spiritual renewal with intellectual resilience in the face of evolving ideological challenges.

Continuing the “Manama Coexistence Pathway” program, and escorted by representatives of the King Hamad Global Center for Peaceful Coexistence (KHGC), Prof. Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri visited the community center of the esteemed Bait Mohammad Bin Hassan Al-Arrayed family.

He was warmly received by Mr. Maher Al-Arrayed at the center. Senior family members welcomed and honored Prof. Hassan Qadri, sharing the family’s rich history, cultural legacy, and Bahrain’s longstanding tradition of social harmony among all communities.

Mr. Maher also presented Prof. Hassan Qadri with a book detailing the biography of a prominent figure from their family, who previously served as Deputy Prime Minister of Bahrain, reflecting the family’s respected contributions to the nation.

The meeting emphasized that Bahrain’s pluralistic structure empowers all citizens to feel respected, valued, and included in national progress. Prof. Hassan Qadri remarked that such coexistence and mutual respect thrive in Bahrain due to the enlightened leadership of His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, whose guidance and commitment have strengthened unity and inclusivity in Bahraini society.

Books of scholarly and humanitarian importance were exchanged; Prof. Hassan Qadri presented copies of “Dastoor-ul-Madina,” “Quranic Management,” “Fatwa on Terrorism,” the “Real Sketch of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH),” and other publications. The gathering demonstrated Bahrain’s living model of peaceful coexistence and shared human values nurtured under the Kingdom’s wise leadership.

Prof. Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri was received by Bishop Aldo Berardi at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Arabia, in a visit arranged by the King Hamad Global Center for Peaceful Coexistence and Tolerance during his recent visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. Dr. Hassan Qadri was given a warm welcome and a comprehensive tour of the largest Catholic Church in the Arabian Peninsula, where he admired the impressive architectural features of the sacred facility.
Bishop Aldo Berardi expressed deep appreciation for the global humanitarian and scholarly work of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. He noted MQI’s remarkable contributions in promoting peace, social harmony, interfaith dialogue, and community welfare across the world. Dr. Hassan Qadri highlighted the impactful conferences, peace curricula, academic publications, and the dedicated Peace and Counter-Extremism Department at Minhaj University Lahore, all of which continue to strengthen the global narrative against extremism and radicalization.
During their discussion, Dr. Hassan Qadri emphasized the true essence of Islam, rooted in compassion, knowledge, humility, service to humanity, and mutual respect. He revived the merciful teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), which promote unity and universal brotherhood.
Both dignitaries reflected on the significance of finding shared values between Islam and Christianity, recognizing that pluralism, mutual respect, and constructive dialogue pave the way for peaceful coexistence. They agreed that freedom of faith, religious tolerance, and respect for diversity are essential pillars of a progressive and harmonious society.
They praised Bahrain’s exemplary model of coexistence — a living reality under the wise leadership of the Kingdom — where interfaith understanding is nurtured and protected.
