Per sources, John Harbaugh met with Giants today and remains in the building. He’s likely to exit without a done deal, but there’s a strong sense on both sides he’s the #NYGiants next HC. I’m told New York is waiting to match/beat offers from ATL or TEN. $20M/year is expected.

@RonJohnsonm3tl Knee soreness/inflammation from the sounds of it. He’s played through worse injuries so far in his early career.

[Rick Harper @HarperRick8226]

#Giants WR Malik Nabers was downgraded to ‘questionable’ for Sunday’s game against the #Eagles. He was off to the side with the trainers but was fully dressed for practice. The word inside the building is that Nabers will likely play Sunday, barring a setback.

Correction: a 2028 5th rounder. Typos will be the death of me!

[Rick Harper @HarperRick8226]

I’m told the #Giants have made an offer for #Colts RB Jonathan Taylor.

Indy isn’t eager to move JT but is looking to see if any team will offer a 2027 1st-round pick.

NY is standing pat on its initial offer: likely a 2027 2nd/3rd-round pick and a 2027 5th.

@DC091419 Precisely what I meant and heard. Realizing this typo could be bad news…

[Rick Harper @HarperRick8226]

Sources inside the #NYGiants building indicate some interest in #Colts WR Josh Downs. New York parted ways with Wan’Dale Robinson over the offseason and lost Calvin Austin to a season ending knee injury during the preseason. I’m told that they would like to reload their WR corps.

🚨BREAKING🚨

Per sources, the #NYGiants have been actively “calling around” on multiple high-ticket RBs, including #Eagles RB Saquon Barkley. I’m told New York is unwilling to part with prime 2027 draft capital but has some flexibility with high-round picks in 2028.

[Rick Harper @HarperRick8226]

@PPTReport @JoeyVotto gary’s walk rate was almost double the league average this year. “usually swings at anything” lol

[Rick Harper @HarperRick8226]

@toptiertakesTTT Of course all sources aren’t equal, but I’m fairly confident on the numbers. Will likely come out at some point in the near future when all is settled, and when Dexter is able to make it back in the building.

[Rick Harper @HarperRick8226]

The #NYGiants are prepared to spend big in their DC search. Per inside sources, “money is not an issue,” and New York is expected to pursue a current defensive coordinator via a lateral move rather than landing a top position coach. The one caveat: Jim Leanhard.

🤷‍♂️🎯. Heard it here first!

Per sources, #LSUFootball CB Mansoor Delane is “very highly regarded” within the #NYGiants front office. Expect a top-30 visit Giants fans.

[Rick Harper @HarperRick8226]

I’m told John Harbaugh views the #NYGiants as the most appealing HC opening, though timing is tricky. He’s taking his daughter back to law school this week, and my sources say he’s seeing if the #BillsMafia HC job opens amid a loss and rumored McDermott/Josh Allen complications.

[Rick Harper @HarperRick8226]

@besimistic @GiantsNationPod Your thinking is correct. Leverage is needed for a trade down.

[Rick Harper @HarperRick8226]

Giants to rotate players heavily in today’s game, sources say.

Expect a true mix of starters and backups on the field, including names like Art Green and Eric Gray seeing heavier action today.

[Rick Harper @HarperRick8226]

My sources have confirmed a January firing for #NYGiants interim HC Mike Kafka. Not surprising news, but his fate has officially been sealed.

He’ll be an enticing option at OC for any teams with openings.

[Rick Harper @HarperRick8226]

@GrnWatchdog There’s an internal connection here, as the player is viewed favorably by an employee who has a direct relationship with an executive above Joe Schoen in the front office.

[Rick Harper @HarperRick8226]

Sources inside the building say Isaiah Sategna is very well regarded by a long-tenured member of the front office. Joe Schoen and his staff have been in attendance at multiple Oklahoma games this season. A Top-30 visit is expected to be in play for the #NYGiants.
