In 125 years of X-ray and 49 years of CT imaging, not a single study has proven definitively that CT contributes to risk of cancer.
Even if a patient undergoes multiple CTs, as long as the single day exposure is not above 100 mSv, there is NO CUMULATIVE DAMAGE.
